Flexible Floating PV Plant
A set of PhotoVoltaïc solar panels is installed on a flexible structure made of floating hoses connected in a circle, and inter-linked to keep their circular shape. It stays on location thanks to a single point mooring system integrating the power cable to shore. The whole structure is able to withstand waves by just following gently the motions of the water surface.
This system is designed to provide solar power to coastal and sheltered waters, notably where a connection to a central distribution power system is difficult.
