Tyre Recycling New Approach

A compact, mobile recycling unit is being designed allowing for local treatment of used tyres, and producing directly high purity rubber granulates. The volume of residual waste will be significantly reduced.

This will vastly simplify the whole supply chain of tyre recycling, with two target domains:

• Local tyre retailers, with an immediate economic benefit;
• Illegal tyres dumping: huge tyre « dams » can be seen mainly in emerging countries, with a high environmental impact and creating a major safety and air pollution
