FUTURE CONCEPTS

Other concepts are being prepared to start development:

• Flexible Floating PV Plant, designed to provide solar power to coastal and sheltered waters;
• Ocean plastics recycling plant at sea using the PROPELWIND concept as mobile platform;
• Compact, mobile recycling unit for car tyres, in view of the pressure to reduce emissions in the cement industry;
• Floating solar powered desalination plant providing potable water for small coastal communities;
• Multifunction energy atoll, a near shore artificial atoll with floating barges for nuclear power plants, hydrogen production plants, and large ammonia storage ;
• LNG tandem offloading, a cost effective and safe offloading system for FLNG’s in exposed areas.
• Maritime Nuclear, as applied to Floating Nuclear Power Plants and ships fitted with nuclear propulsion
